sorry for the previous post...i intended to post photos but fail to do so bcos of some failure in the system...ok forget abt it...

sch has start..and i'm officially in my senior yr...after this sem i will leaving sch for industrial attachment... i have the intentions to apply for overseas intern but...due to the amt of money that is needed i changed my mine....i think i will leave till next time...probably when i get in to uni..HOPEFULLY~~~

ok my new camera..a pink colour dslr...this is so cool~~~

OMG...i bought like nobody business...regretted for a while...but i think its a investment...dunno i should use this word or not...i do like taking photos...but with a dslr...ok it can really take pretty pictures:D and i'm still learning how to take fantastic photos:D

ok back to sch...its onli the 1st week of sch..and i can foresee how busy it will be for the next few months...i think less drama and goin out with friends le:(

oh speaking of goin out...went to malacca during the holidays...and i kind of enjoy it..:D

its much much better than port dickson...ahem...haha..espeacially the lodging...we book a bungalow..which like 70 for each person...not bad..its quite spacious...so ya fit all of us..everyone got a bed:)

oh ya...i worked in changi for like 9 days???it really a experience lars...working in thhe airport and staying over..haha...enjoyed myself there:D

ok..i've nv been to a relationship b4...is not that no one wants or wadeva...but its me i'm the problem...whenever someone is good to me...i will move far away from them....WHY???wadswrong with me...
watching drama...one is poor and one is rich...u noe the story...they will be some barriers...
but despite of those barriers they still want to be together regardless of any sacrifices...
in real life..ppl are getting together, and break up the next day. so wad is this...in this modern days...i dun really noe wad the hell is all this abt...

Harloo~~~ i'm sooo bored rite now...so i've decided to come update my blog....
yup its soooo dead for like 3 months....after new yr, i was soooo lazy to write anything cos bz with school stuff~like ya BORING~~~
finally my 2nd yr in NP has come to an end and so yup.... Harloo 3rd yr and then maybe UNI~~~ ok this is my sooo boringg life...
ok b4 tat my results for this sem...not sure how isit goin to be....dun feel like thinking abbt it...its either ok or total goner....
heck care...so yup tml goin changi and work like crazy 13hrs and goin stay in airport for one night hopefully next week 2 nights:D
ok no tinking abt the timing and sleeping....i think i'm gonna get thru...(but i think i will die real soon) i think i'm not goin to sleep tml...sian ttm...but nvmm its a new experience for me...

ok i decided to blog today rather than tml...cos i dunno wad i will do tml... i should say ltr on cos its 12++am of 31st dec...

suppposely i should have a countdown thingy but neh...poof...again aeroplane again..haha

but nvm...will find something to do...not goin to let my last day of 2010 to be so down...goin to party all night long:D( got a feeling that it won't happen)

haha...lots of things is left undone...and it should be done by today...try lars...

hmmm...lets recap wad i had done this yr...

1.Sis Wedding
helping up with my sis wedding~~~ tiring...as if i'm the one getting married...wearing 3 inches high heel which i nvr wear b4...crazy shit....but its fun and happy when u see happy faces arh:D

2. Going oversea alone for 6 weeks.

this is a breakthru for me...i nv done this b4...but i'm glad that i make this decision somehow it benefits me and also let me see things in different perspective...

3.Going Hokkaido

Its a great place to visit...nice scenery...love the place..2nd county that i wanna go back again:D:D:D and its like 1 month after my 6 weeks OIP...(FYI: i'm referring to no.1)

4. Volunteering for YOG

another crazy thing that i nvr done b4...just want to do something new....its a good experience...got to meet friends from around the world...and noe more abt other culture..and most importantly...i've made alot of friends...got to meet some great atheles:D and one manage to take photo with one of the basketball player:D:D:D

5. Working for the 1st time.

Ok....this is one of the happy thing..got to make more friends...most importantly..almost all are malaysian...haha:D feels good...cos i nv had so many m'sian b4..so ya...really like it alot...enjoy their company

6.Watching ADAM LAMBERT CONCERT AND M&G SESSION

ok this is probably the most craziest thing and also the most unbelievable thing tat happen...

dreamt of meeting him and it comes true...wad could be the happiest thing that could happen to you...MEETING UR IDOL:D:D:D haha...really happy to see him and manage to talk to him too..:D

7. CLUBBING

1st time goin in..ok proabably this is my 1st yr to get in lars...so ya...not an ideal place to be..but enjoy the music...alcohol..no way...cos vomitting after drinking sux...haha

8. Going out with malaysian friends.

Hmm...though we did not stay in a good place...but their company makes the day go on...banana boat FTW...but..painful arh....but still enjoy everything..this is a good thing when u got malaysian friend...noe more abt ur own country:D:D:D

9. Driving my friends around

ok i shouldn't have done that...but i've done it in the end...ok conclusion...driving is tiring...dunno maybe i'm just too tired ...but yea..IT"S TIRING OKAY!!! also being a tour guide its f**king tired..haha

Okay thats all i thing...dun thing there's anything to add on...9 things onli...haiz..i need 1 more thing to make it a perfect 10....:D:D:D but too bads...2010 is ending...hopefully the most craziest thing might happen tml..but i doubt so...cos no plans for tml....:(

Am Glad to say that my EZ link card has been found gonna retrieve it on monday:D
thats good news for me...no wonder my left eye was twitcing in the evening...:D
Finally the fighting spirit has come back...its been a hectic week???was it??? Anyway rushed my report and tada...finally done a report by myself....dunno whether its good enough...i got this bad feeling that its not ok...Getting an A for this module is a challenge for me now....so i gues i need to gambateh abits arh...:D
And yeah...ytd was a not bad day for me...:D when i leave sch the bus was there...and when i reach shell station the bus i wanted came...and when i reach kranji the bus came...so yea...it was pretty fast...i manage to meet susan...it was kinda surprising..i was like listening to my mp3...and suddenly i heard someone calling me....she's just beside me...but i didn't sees her..LOL..she looks damn tired larx...

Not a good day for me...

Why???jus cut my hair....and i was furious...the hairdresser was freaking slow...he keep combing my hair and let down comb again let down....i dunno how much hair had i lost...in the end my hair looks...

ok forget about it....

this week of school is really awaste of time...especially on Thursday...Rush to school for 8am class...in the end lessons end at abt 9am(before 9) and next lesson was like 1pm...4hrs of break...

so my friends and I were like took a 45 mins ride to a shopping centre(JP) Ok i think its freaking lame...did nthing there but ate BK and walk ard...ok pointless...for other days,lessons starts at one...a time that i dun feel like goin to school...but i still need to...:(

I'm so...(speechless)this week is not a great week at all...nthing special happen...during exam i lost my student card...this week lost my EZ link card....why don't i just get myself lost someone and dun come back...really fed up with myself...keep on losing things...and also this week i got this i want to eat eat eat feeling keep on eating...surely gaining weight this week...need to stop thinking about food...STUDY WEILI!!!:D

Currently watching Playful Kiss Korean version....haha..i'm still drama mode instead of studying....haha..

My mind was totally off for the 1st few days of sch...but ytd it was like miracle...i was actually listening and paying attention in class...haha:D

Probablly i think too much of GPA 4.0...hopefully i can get it this time round....Gambatehzz~~~

Oh ya...i keep meeting friends in school that i dun usually meet since the sch start...wow..creepy~~

Ytd night my friend from the concert sms-ed me and ask me to turn on my tv and watch something..and it was the GNT...oh my its like a recap....i was so high while watching....i can't believe i was in the crowd... the stadium is really fully pack...:D:D i was so high after watching that...but i know i need to stop....:D

ok lar..actually i dun have much to say but i guess i need to get out of my hse early next week...no more 15 mins grace period and the traffic in the morning was terrible i dunno wad to say...

Hello again~ school has once again started and holidays had ended with a big full stop..
I must say I've the best holiday of my 18 yrs of living...doin stuffs that i haven't done before-
watching a concert, working, and clubbing....
Concert was great!!! Able to meet my idol...i got lotsa comments...his a gay...blah blah...and soo??? who say gay can't sing....eveyone commenting this are ignorant b****...but it was a short concert and i'm ald contented with it...
ok working....meet so many great friends they are fun to be with...had so much laughter and its not boring at all...love ya guys:D
Next Clubbing....ok i dunno wad to say...i guess i dun like such places...seeing ppl getting drunk sleeping outside the club...abit unglam...and the club is darn noisy...kays...shall not comment too much but must say a good experience...:D
ok schoo started ytd....onli had 30 mins of lesson..yup travelling time is more then the time i'm staying in sch....:(
but god lar at least i can go home early:D

I guess that 18 is really a yr that i'm goanna step out and see the world???? 1st time working sharing the happiness and sorrows of others...there's still like alot of caring ppl outside...i somehow starting to like this world...i dunno why suddenly I met alot of great friends after YOG...its not that my other friends are not good...but i can really let myself out with all this guys...
today was really a great day...goin out with such a big group of Malaysians...yup...this sounds pathetic...honestly speaking I onli went out with Sin Yee and some other primary friends...other than that is all Singaporean...and suddenly there's alot of Malaysian friends that are taking the same bus as me back to JB...ok its sounds funny...but this is the truth...
i really find myself kinda pathetic...having more Singaporean friends than Malaysian....its great meeting them...and also those from YOG...they are great too...:D i started to find my life more and more meaningful...
and this time round i didn't waste my time rotting at home...am so glad that i meet Susan that had introduce me to those jobs...though the 1st one was not really good...but its still an experience...at least i experience something that i think most of my family members didn't even try it b4...haha:D
most importantly I'm starting to earn money...money really doesn't come easily...need to put in a certain amt of effort for that...Its really happy when it comes to payday...haha:D.
Actually i dun give a thought for it...but later seeing the others smile...i finally think that this money is something i deserve it...haha....yup esp with all those ugly scars ard...yup i guess I'm as clumsy as b4..how??? no medicine to cure...cut myself ytd...
loss quite amt of bld...when i was washing my wound I was feeling a little giddy and feels like vomitting...luckily i recover fast....its just like wad happen last time I'm jab with the fever medicine...
hmm i guess its another emotional post...haha...but all this really comes from the bottom of my heart...though the job was not easy but i still like it...though i keep getting injured buti feel that this world is not as bad as i think..kep meetin ppl that is so self centred..haha...ok shall not mention names here...:D oks

On monday, when s'pore and meet Wuhan peeps for dinner....yup another sinful day ...we went to Swensens and i actually order the mega burger...its really mega....so big....thanks Shiyi for helping me finish the burger:D cos i really cannot finish it....Finally tried the marvelous cream the ice cream and waffle...the waffle was not veri nice but the ice cream is nice~~order the green tea one and share it with Jialin...
hmmm nthing much happen but just happen to pass the hmm whats the place call...nvm...the place we pay respect to MM Lee's wife...really a sad case...watching the news toking how the both of them meet is touching and sweet~~~

Why??? Cos IS pull my GPA down again..it never fails man...i tot i was clear this time wrong in the end nope...because of this stupid module....i got GPA 3.9 ++ instead of 4 luckily this time roung the credit unit is onli 2 or else i dunno wad will happen... and and luckily i got A for the other IS or else i dunno wad to say....

maybe i must be thankful most importantly to myself for volunteering myself for YOG if not i won't be meeting those friends and maybe still mugging @ home....

i had lived in this cruel world for 18 years and i just can't feel it...i personally thinks that time really flies....
I seriously dun want to grow out... 2 more years to my 20s...omg can't believe it....

yup thats rite...staying at home study for common test which is tml....there should be school today...but presentation postpone and tutorial cancel hence no sch today....
people thinks that how lucky am I but i think that how unlucky am I cos not goin to sch will make me more worry for the test tml...
i dun feel like studying becos i find it pointless cos...i do all those paper without the answer how ami suppose to noe am i doin it correctly or...yup i'm not confident enough with my answers....why???

cos lack of practice i guess...its not that i didn't practice....but the question i have its in the notes which i had tried many many times...but i'm afraid that when the question change i will not be able to answer it....ok enough of al this...cos all this is increasing my anxiety.
i should just relax and enjoy my day huh....but i just hate the results that i've get....i had ythe gurl dere that she thinks she smart...keep boasting ard her results....harloo i didn't even say i got ful marks tat time and u still dare to go ard and say ur results...i really really need to win you to increase my confidence but i'm lack of motivation....someone just slapped my face and ask me to wake up.....i keep saying i will really really study for the next sem but....i still haven even seriously study for my test....maybe its because somewhere inside me is sastified witht heresults i'm getting but I'M NOT....my goal is to get into NUS if not o'm not goin to study anymore..my results are not getting me anywhere except
NTU...not that i dun want to go NTU but i need to cos all my siblings went there....this put me into a challenge cos i need to get at least a 3.9 to get into where i want to be...until now i'm still getting a 3.8....

OKAY back from Hokkaido.
Everything seems to be a dream to me. Trying to believe what i had dreamt about. It was a happy trip afterall. Like everything there and also try the Onsen...ok dun ask me abt it cos its quite awkward. Try it 2 times and wala back.
I don't know why this trip seems to be short to me as compare to the trip to Korea. Isit b'cos of the weather? I don't know. just don't want this dream to stop. I want to see what will happen next, but I'm back to this old place that hope i was never in before. Quite a sentimental post arh. Woke up early in the morning, which is like 6.30. maybe b'cos of jet lag. cos Japan is 1hr faster than where i am.
didn't sleep in the plane yesterday. watch 3 movies. Green Zone, The Bounty Hunter and Alice in Wonderland.
ok like the second show more. Funny show.
Didn't sleep in the plane b'cos i really dun feel like losing any moment here. I just want to treasure every single moment and keep it in my memories but i think this make it worst cos this 'thing' stucks to my head which also the reason i woke up early hoping the dream is not over yet.
sounds confuse right...haha try to understand it slowly.
Having watery eyes why writing the previous sentence not b'cs i'm tired but just emotional at that moment. i just hope that everything will be over asap.
School starts tomorrow but....i'm not goin' cos i had complete my part therefore i do not need to go school on Monday for the next 6 weeks.

something came across my mind when i was in the trip.
I need to find my definition for LOVE. i guess i find the difinition for it. There is alot meaning for it. Loving a place, loving a person and most importantly love your family. And i FELL IN LOVE with the sky. People will be wondering ... the SKY????WTF u must be kidding me.
ok True enough wad so great about the sky. People are thinking is dere really heaven???
And i can say it out loud confidently, There is really a place call heaven. The sky is really beautiful( maybe onli at certain parts)
The shape of the clouds looks like mountains, trees and land which are covered with thick snows.
i was imagining myself standing there skiing.Okay i can't actually describe everything ho wi felt about it cos u might be thinkin, is it realy so good about the sky. u must experience it yourself . maybe not everyone had this kind of feeling but for me i think i like the sky more than the land. this make me more persistent on my dream...i dunno whether i can fulfilled it but i still want to try it out.
Ok it seems that i had not define anything yet. What i was trying to say is. Love is not something u can simply give away, and when u truly feel it, it is the time u want to keep it in your heart and never let it slip away.

Just finish watching The A Team....quite a nice show to watch will give it a 8/10...actually 7 but + 1 b'cos i think one of the character was quite atractive....haha....a funny show and at the same time exciting.... making me want to be part of the team...doin such things need quite a big brain....all those strategy stuff....and also need guts....ok i think i canot be part of the team cos i got none of the above...haha...

Went to Singapore ytd and did some shopping saw some of a coursemates....What a small world...yup indeed....Singapore is a small country....BUT still did not manage to see people that i like to meet....ok forget atbout it....

Welcome back! Old me...

ahaha... finally get back to the momentum after the Wuhan trip. Sick this week, cough plus flu....

ok currently watching Thomas Cup and is disappointing....haiz...Malaysia vs China... of course i'm supporting my own country, thought i just got back from China , ahaha...CONTRADICTING....

Disappointed is all i can say now.. the first two games are the world's no.1 but... they loss... RESULT: CvsM 2-0...the third game...not hoping for any miracle or anything... cos the third game will be the last game... i think the last 2 games' player just pack ur bag and get ready to go home...ok sorry for being so mean...but i stating the truth ok....
ok get back to topic..oh ya,,sick for this week...ya cough and sneeze like hell...so happy this week no need to hand in any reports...

my previous post was all about unhappy stuff... ok should tok abt happy stuff now...actually nthing happy these days...ohya...dunno whether i should be happy or not..i will be going overseas again this coming holiday...to Japan again...ok...goin to be tired tired tired...onli 2 weeks holiday goin dere one week...sch starts again..pk b4 tat... will be staying in singapore again for 2 weeks...sad lar.... those days was unbearable gonna miss my tv, bed and sofa....haha....my working place...

LAST WEEK IN WUHAN

Nothing much happen on Monday and Tuesday; on Monday we were rushing our blog and Tuesday and Wednesday we had our final touch up on our final presentation.

8^th April 2010

Woke up early on Wednesday morning for Outward bound. Had been waiting for this moment since the first day of the program because I’m quite an adventurous person. In the morning we play a game, something like minesweeper. It is a game that needs trial and error. Manage to finish the game. Up next was a game about teamwork. It needs the cooperation from everybody. We try to break the time record for the second activity but fail to, but at least we tried our very best. If we have more time to practice, we might break the record.

After that, we had our lunch and rest for our next activity which trust fall and rock climbing. Didn’t try to fall but was one of the one who is waiting people to fall on; was scared because I had try it before during OBS camp 3 years back. Up next was rock climbing, only two people manage to climb up. One is Rey and the other one is from MOT, Andy. Tried to climb up but fail to, as I do not have enough strength to climb up. I was stuck at one point; this is where most of the people were stuck. Struggle at that point, wanted to try my best to climb up but fail as most of my strength is drain out. Quite disappointed with my performance, as I manage to climb up during OBS.

After Outward Bound, we went back to rest for BBQ and presentation at night. Had a great time during BBQ. Interact with more china students. Student there are very friendly and helpful. They help us to cooked the food and prepare activities for us.

Next is the presentation; first time having presentation at night. Did not present well that day, probably because I was tired due to the3 activities before that; disappointed myself 2 times in one day. Everyone was tired that day.

9^th,10^th &11^th April 2010

Do last minute shopping on these 3 days. Went to Guang gu bu xing jie on Thursday to check what to buy. After shopping we went back to our hostel for the farewell dinner. Before that, have some problem with the driver of a Mian Bao Che( bread car). We called the car and he was late, in addition, we were late for the dinner. So we decided to get whatever car we see. On our way back the driver from the other car call and say he had reach the destination but we were not there. He was unhappy after knowing that we had leave the place and insist to pay for the fuel. I was thinking if he makes the trip back he will be wasting more fuel why not wait for another passenger there to earn back the money. This is something that we as an outsider could not understand the situation and how they think because probably they have their own reasons.

After that we had the farewell dinner and later that night we played with fireworks. Overall had a enjoyable night.

On Saturday, went to Han Kou, lao shu jie to shop. Things sold there are much cheaper than in Guang Gu. Many china people warn us that they are a lot of pickpockets there, so I had to pay extra attention to my belongings. Luckily nothing happen to me.

On Sunday, in the morning , we went to the hostel of our China friend to bid our farewell. Our hostel is indeed better than theirs. We reluctantly leave their hostel. Went to Guang gu after that; Jia Lin went in to a shop and accidentally drops a mirror. She put back the mirror; a shopkeeper open a mirror that is broken and insists that it is broken because of Jia Lin. I was not there when jia lin drop the mirror, so I could not help to solve the problem. Jia lin said that the broken mirror it’s not the one that she had drop but the shopkeeper insist that she broke it. By seeing how angry Jia Lin was, I think that Jia Lin is telling the truth, but why the shopkeeper keep accusing Jia Lin was the one who broke it. First time encountering this situation, so I was quite speechless at that moment. The atmosphere was very tense at that time. After that situation we continue with our shopping.

After shopping, another problem arise. Eugene called a Bread car but the bread car was being called by the other group of students, so he called another car. The other driver said that he could not make it at that moment so he will ask another driver to call him. After a few moment, an uncle called and we thought is the friend of the second driver but it was the 1^st driver’s husband. When we were on the bread car, the second driver’s friend called and said that he had reach the destination. Luckily he did not ask for compensate. From this incident, we can see that communication plays an important role. Misunderstanding can happen anytime; we need to be clear about the situation before deciding on something.

12^th April 2010

The day that returns to our homeland. Have mixed feeling at that time. Wanted to go home but wanted to stay at the same time. Like what most of us had said, when we just started to adapt the life here we will be going home. True. Make quite a number of friends from other schools and also in china. Had great company for the past six weeks.

Remembering the first group of friends I had made. It was at the three gorges; it was pitch dark and we introduce ourselves in the darkness. Roughly know who they are. When we are at the dam, I was the only student from LSCT staying up late to watch the opening of the dam. Luckily, some of the friends that I had made were there and they keep me company.

Remembering the nights singing at the corridor with students from other schools and this is when we know each other better.

Also during the climb at Wudang Mountain, realized that someone had the same name as me. We support each other to continue climbing although we do not know each other well.

Friends are the only support when we are in a foreign country. Without them I may not enjoy the days in Wuhan and also may just pack my bags and go back without learning anythings.I had experience a lot of new things here. Initially, I did not even want to go Wuhan at allas China was not my ideal place fro holiday. Now I think I had make a right choice, coming here experience new things that other students might not get a chance to experience. Remembering shivering in the class due to the cold weather, remembering the flight of stairs that we need to climb before going to class. In Singapore, we just take lift up if our classrooms are higher than second floor.

Overall, I learn a lot of things during this trip. I learn to be strong and independent. Learn to persevere when I wanted to give up. Learn how to solve unexpected situations. Learn how to adapt to a new environment, a totally different environment. Learn how to communicate properly with the locals. Also, I had discover new things, knowing more about the Chinese culture, the students life in Wuhan.

To conclude, I will miss Wuhan, the food , the China friends that I had made and also the weather here and also I am lucky to be part of the OIP. Goodbye Wuhan!

4^th April 2010

Had a morning call from the receptionist. Wanted to sleep longer as the bed is really comfortable but we need to assemble for breakfast at 8am. So reluctantly, I drag myself to prepare for the day. It was my father’s birthday sms him my wishes. Had a good breakfast. For me I think it was the best breakfast for the entire trip. There are fried dough sticks. Although they had turn cold but they still taste nice.

The 1^st place that we went is the Mei Ren Gu. No climbing of stair or hills. It has different scenery, different feeling. It’s a very nice place. We sat on the wooden boat – a man rowing the boat. Compare to the one we had a 3 gorges I think the one at 3 gorges is more tiring. The water at 3 gorges is deeper hence more strength is needed to row the bow. There are waterfalls there and it is really cooling when we are near the falls. The scenery is very nice I hope that they could preserve this natural beauty so as let the later generation to experience the same feeling.

Next up is to a cave call Xian Ren dong. Another thing that you cannot see in Singapore. We had a long walk inside the cave. We took about 1 hr to get out of the cave. At some points we need to bent down to walk as the place is very low. I knock my head once, and it hurts. The guide describe some of the stone as animals. Are there naturally form or just manmade. Seeing all this natural forms, my mind flash through what my geography teacher had taught- the formation of caves. Had a hard time to remember all processes. Now seeing the real caves, I can actually remember and understand what the teacher is talking about. Probably, teacher’s can change another method to teach student, example bringing students to reality and lie them feel and experience. I think could lead to a better understanding.

After the visit to the cave, we headed to a mechanics shop as there is something wrong with the wheels of the bus. So for our safety the driver repair it firs before we headed back to our hostel. I think the wheels had worn off due to the bumpy road and the speed the driver is driving. I think the driver should decrease the speed as safety come first; there is no need to rush back to our hostel. After repairing the wheels, we headed back to our hostel. On our back, I saw the driver spit while driving. I think this is very unhygienic; there are many ways to clear the spits. After 4 hrs we finally reach our hostel and rest after the long ride.

3^rd April 2010
Woke up early in the morning to assemble to set off for Lu Ling. Had a slight headache in the when I woke up, wanted give up on the trip, but think about the money I had spent for this whole programme, I reluctantly drag my feet to the assemble place. Had about 4 hrs ride to our destination I think most of us had used to the duration of the ride, after so many trips. We had a bumpy ride, the bus driver drive the bus very fast that we could not really sleep, just let our body sway with the bus. Also the bus driver keeps horning, and this is totally irritating. I think he is creating noise pollution. I think the bus driver is a little impatient, maybe he wanted us to get to our destination at the shortest time. Something we could not experience back in Singapore, if we speed up a little we will get summon as speed cameras. Another thing is that the bus driver even speeds while heading up a hill. I think this dangerous. If anything goes wrong I might not be writing this post. I think the ride to lu lin feels like roller coaster. 4 hrs later we finally reach our destination and had our lunch first and check in to our hotel. Most of us were delighted to see our room as we think that this is the best room we get so far and most importantly the bed is soft. For the past 5 weeks, I had slept on a bed that is as hard as wood. Beside our hotel, there is a plough land and a hanging bridge and we played there. Another thing that we could not see in Singapore.

After that we went to our 1^st scenic spot, it was a beautiful place up on a mountain. We need to climb up a little. Got a little scared after the Wudang climb. It was also quite tiring. It is something we cannot experience and see in Singapore. We also took a bus to each scenic spot. Again the bus driver drove the bus recklessly. Scarier this time, as we are getting higher and higher. Enjoy ourselves up the mountain. There are statues showing people during wartimes. There are statue horses there and I mange to climb to take photos with the horses. Had not been exercising (besides wudang climb). Another good time for exercising. Had a great time up there. Nothing much to say about the scenery as it something that we could not describe in words. Furthermore, we had seen something similar for the past. After that we headed back to our hotel for dinner and rest for tomorrow’s schedule.

No school on this day, did nothing much. In the afternoon, the china friend, Yuming came to our dorm as Shiyi and I wanted to interview her for our IS reports. Didn’t manage to get a full answer but got a little information about what I was going to do. Had a long chat with her and get to know some of her background. According to her, she lives very far from Wuhan hence she seldom returns to her hometown. Also, she mention about the culture back in her hometown. Most of her relatives live in the same village. From this, we can see that the relationship between each relative is very close. Unlike what is in Singapore, most of them stay a distance from each other and seldom meet each other, only meet each other during special occasions. Besides that she also mentions about parents favor sons. I thought that in the modern era, this mindset had faded away, however it still exist. Maybe this only exists in the rural area. She also said that we will not see a girl’s name inside a family tree or genealogy unless she is willing to pay for it. But she didn’t pay for it as she thinks that there is no need to do that. Another shocking thing is that the names of female grandchildren’s name will not appear at their grandparent’s grave. I was shocked to know that because in Malaysia regardless of your gender, your name will still appear. After knowing I feel lucky to live in a country where gender is not an issue and I’m glad that my parents treat everyone in the family fairly. For me I think that both male and female should be treated fairly sometimes, as girls are part of the family too. It feels like you did not exist at all and also feels like you did not contribute to the family at all.

Woke up early to get ready to set off for the yellow crane tower. I was excited, as when I was young I was asked to recite the Yellow Crane Tower’s poem. Wanted to know how it is look like. We had a short ride from our hostel as compare to our previous trips. Reach our destination and it was filled with lots of people mostly with tourist. Many people climb up to the tower at the same time and this makes me think about the times that I was taking bus 170 back home.

People were squeezing each other trying to climb up the tower. I think they should install a system maybe limit the amount of the people in the tower. As it was really terrible and this is a tourist site and I think to make a good impression for the tourist they should solve the human traffic at the entrance and at the stairs. In the tower it shows us how the tower looks like in each dynasty.

Next stop was the museum. Had a short time there. Didn’t see many things there but saw an interesting lotus leave Porcelain that had a ‘straw’ attach to it.

Next stop was a park, something like a theme park. We stay there for only 1 and the half hour so we did not do much things just cycling. Wanted to play some of the attractions but we do not have time to do so. While cycling, we saw a lot of people taking wedding photos there. I think the park is an ideal place for most of the couples to take photos in Wuhan. For me, I think the tour guide should give us more time so that we can play some of the attractions there. After the park we headed back to our hostel.

When we were back at our hostel, the china students that we had interact with called and ask whether we want to attend a dance activity outside the supermarket. Hui Ling and I went there and along our way Shiyi and 2 other MOT guys tag along. When we reach there the activity had started. Many people had started dancing mostly students from nearby schools. Most of them seem to know the steps for the dance. Compare Singapore and Wuhan, most of the students will go clubbing and KTV seldom see such activities where a group of students come together and dance. According to the china student, this activity will hold every week if the weather persists. Try to join in but due to my clumsiness I stopped and stand aside to enjoy the dance. Overall, I had a enjoyable day.

Have our first lesson with Mr Yun. Terrified by the timetable we saw, 9am-12pm and 2pm -5pm. However the lesson was shortened due to the function in the evening. Mr Yun was good enough to dismiss us early to let us rest. It was Jia Lin’s birthday on the next day, and we decided surprised her with a birthday cake. The candle was cute. It is in number form. Had a hard time lighting the candle, maybe it is due to the wind or the quality of the candle. Had a great time, they played cream fight however I did not join in as I hate getting dirty.

In the evening we went to the function hall, it’s quite a distance from our dorm but nearer to our classrooms. Do not know whether it is their biggest hall in the school. Compare Ngee Ann’s convention centre, it looks different, as the convention centre is much bigger than the hall we went. The event started and was stunned by the costumes that the MCs are wearing. It is really grand. Evening gowns and tuxedos seldom see it in events in Singapore only in some star awards and wedding. Saw the list of activities and was happy to see Guzheng performances. However, I was quite disappointed with the performance as I hardly hear the melody from the Guzheng. The piano had completely covered the music from the guzheng. Next activity that I am interested was the performance by the Ngee Ann students. Although we had seen it before but this makes me feel like I was at home. Listening to the music that we are familiar and the students lighten up and make the whole place filled with happiness. We were like strangers at first but now we are like one big family bonding very well. We finally interact with the local student and I find them quite easy to interact with. Due to the different way in speaking, I need to be careful and change the way I am phrasing my sentence and I need to listen to them as they speak very fast. Overall, I had a great evening.

It’s a rainy and windy day. We have our IS lesson in the morning. It was my first time holding an umbrella walking to school. Back in Ngee Ann, there are shelters everywhere; however there isn’t any shelter for the students to walk to their respective blocks. We must feel fortunate to have a school that had everything plan for us. After the IS lesson, the wind became stronger. Many people struggle to open their umbrella. I manage to open the umbrella. Unfortunately, it broke when I step out of the building. This proves that the wind is indeed strong. This is something that we cannot experience back in Singapore.

Next we went to the teacher’s dorm to revise for our test which is on the next day. It’s our first time taking exam out of school and I’m not used to it. Firstly our dorm does not have a proper table for us to study as it only has one table in the room and it is filled with tidbits. So we had to study on the bed. Secondly, I went to their library, I had a hard time finding a seat as most of the tables are filled with books and I do not whether there are people taking up the place and I do not want to create unnecessary commotion here. Lastly, the weather. The weather here is weird. It’s hot today and cold the other day, and this make people get sick easily and also it makes people feels tire easily. It is hard for me to focus on my work.

On the exam day, wore more cloths to the exam as I am afraid that the room will be cold and I could not concentrate on my paper. Indeed I feel the coldness while doing the paper. Manage to finish the paper but did not perform very well. Overall it is a good experience studying in China.

20^th day in Wuhan. Woke up earlier than usual to prepare for the climb. Have our breakfast first and put our bags inside one of the hotel room. We started climbing at about 7.00am. At first I thought the climb will quite short. However it was longer than I expected. About one year ago I had also climbed a mountain in Korea. It was winter that time and the weather there was harsher than what I’m experiencing here. There was strong wind blowing against my face and the temperature was about 2-4 degrees Celsius. Most of us who climb the mountain were coughing after finish climbing the mountain. If I was not wrong the cough was due to the breathing of air through our mouth. After that experience, I try to breathe in normally during the climb and try not to open my mouth and it works. It was cold at first, after ¼ of the walk I started to sweat as if I was having PE lessons. On my way up to the top, we saw people carrying things up the mountain, and I think the job was really tedious. It seems that the loads that they are carrying are heavier than them. I think it really hard for them. Besides that they are shops along the way. The prices up there are higher than the supermarkets. I bought a bottle of water and it cost me RMB 5 while I can buy it at RMB 1 in the supermarkets. Actually this is reasonable as all these are carried up by human and it is really a tough job to do. Some of the path way are quite narrow and there are no railings beside it so it is quite dangerous. Those who brought kids up there should pay extra attention to their children. Climbing Wudang Mountain really needs perseverance without it I may not finish climbing the mountain. There are some moments that I feel like giving up. After thinking the money that I had pay for the trip, I try to forget about the ache and continue the climb. Met another person who had the same name as me from the other course and we encourage each other to climb the mountain. After 2 hrs of walk, we finally make it up to the top. According to the others that had reached the top, I was the 2^nd girl to reach to the top and I was quite proud of myself. The scenery up there was beautiful. Actually compare the scenery at the 3 gorges I prefer the scenery in the 3 gorges. Took some pictures and enjoy the cooling wind up there. Took that opportunity to rest as we have a long way back to where we start. Again, it was tiring when we were heading back. I was the 1^st girl to reach the bottom as I need to go to the toilet urgently. Overall, I think this is a good experience not only for but for everyone that had climb to the top and perseverance and determination it’s the key to success in life.

19^th day in Wuhan. Woke up early in the morning to assemble at the school entrance to set off to Wudang Mountain. Had a long ride from our hostel to our destination. It was quite tiring and some of my friends got dizzy spells after that. Our bus driver let us down at the bottom of the mountain and we took the environmental friendly bus up to our next destination. What we mostly had visited are temples so the buildings do not have much different. However there are some that looks like buildings in the palace like what we saw on Chinese dramas. Of course the Buddha sculptures that are place inside are also different. We need to climb a lot of stair to reach those temple and I think it was a good training before we climb up to the Wudang Mountain. We drank some tea and the tea was nice. The person ask us to drink water after drinking tea as it will taste sweet. It true that the water taste sweet after drinking the tea. After visiting we had our dinner and had early rest to prepare for the climb on the next day. (The hotel that we are staying is much better than our dorm.)

17^th day in Wuhan. Had a factory visit to coca cola factory. It’s a short visit. Had free coca cola drink and we can drink as many as we can. Took back some coca cola bottles. I had also visited the coca cola factory in Singapore when I was in primary school and I think both looks different. When I visit the one in Singapore, there are no glass panels while there are glass panels here. I think having glass panels is a better idea. It is quite dangerous when there are no glass panels as so playful kids may just fell down. Maybe there are panels now as it’s been long time since I went there. There also shows us a room where lots of coca cola bottles and some of its related products are placed. It’s really nice and beautiful. Saw poster form of the famous hurdler in China Liu Xiang and Barbie dolls. After the visit, we went back to our hostel.

16^th day in Wuhan. Woke up early in the morning to meet up with Eugene, Dr Tan and Mr Wang to extend our visa. Our first stop is the police station. Quite shock to see where we had arrived. The truth is that Mr. Wang wanted to collect (if I’m not wrong) our particulars from the police station. The police station is really quite compared the one in Malaysia. I only saw 2 staff in the police station. Next stop was a 1hr ride to the Qing Shan division of our University. Look around the school. It is very different from our division. There is a tall building hence which means that there is lifts. Went there to get our particulars and fill the forms which Mr Wang helps us to do so. While Mr Wang helps us to fill our forms, we walk around the school. For me I think the school is slightly better than our division, as according to one of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic teachers teaching in that school, there are heaters in the classrooms, while our school does not have any. The lecturer had stay in Wuhan for about 6 months and he told one of the staff that he is suffering here in terms of the weather and the food. I think he is quite true. The weather change drastically. Remember the 1^st week when I arrive in Wuhan, it was very cold and now it has become warmer. I think people will fall sick easily as the weather change that fast. About the food, I think it is also very different from Singapore and Malaysia. The food here had a strong taste, regardless it’s a meat or vegetable it had a very strong flavor. This is something that I still can’t adapt. Another thing that I had notice about the food, the cook here likes to put dried chilies in most of the dishes. I think I may need a long time to adapt with the food here. After that, the teacher shows us around and he is very generous that he treated Eugene and I with western food. After walking around, I think it is very different from our school. There are more shops that sell clothes and also more restaurants. So I think that it is very different from our division, in terms of the school and its environment. The lecturer also brought us to his apartment. Could not comment about it as it is way better than our dorm. After exploring around, we finally headed to our final destination which is the immigration. I think this is also very different from what is in Singapore and Malaysia. There separate different things in different buildings while in our home country everything is in one building. So I think for me, it is quite troublesome as you need to walk from one building to another to settle your stuff. As there were not a lot of people there. We settle with our extension of the visa quite fast and we headed back to our hostel after that.

Day 13 in Wuhan. The 1^st thing I saw is the walls of the dam. I thought that it was still 2 am as according to the tour guide the process will last for 2 hours. Actually there was a delay in the process due to the weather, as it was very foggy that time. It is really foggy that time; you can’t even see what is ahead of you. It is a rare opportunity to experience this as we could not see and experience this back in Singapore. Have our breakfast and later on we stay inside the room for a few hours until Jia Lin and I felt very bored. We went up to the ‘balcony’ to enjoy the cool breeze. Entertain ourselves by taking photos and joke around. So some friends that we had make last night and have a great talk with them. The ship finally got out of the dam at about 12 pm. Later, Hui Ling join us and brought some food up. At about 1.30 pm we finally got down from the ship and took a bus back to our hostel. We do not have a proper meal that day. On our way back, we went to a super market to buy some tidbits to eat in the bus as we have about 6 hours bus ride back to our hostel. We finally reach our hostel at about 8pm. Have a good rest after the long ride. Overall, I think that this trip is an interesting and something that we can talk about when we get back to our homeland.

13^th March 2010

12^th day in China. Woke up early again to have our breakfast as there are different timeslots for the different batch of people to have their meals. As we were the 1^st batch so we need to wake out early to have our breakfast. After the breakfast we need to prepare ourselves as we are getting down the ship to visit a temple. We need to climb a fleet of stairs to reach the temple. I think the climbing was still ok, as I had climb much higher stairs during my previous trip to Korea and China and I think the next trip to Wudang mountain will be much more higher. Beautiful scenery when looking from the peak. Walk around the place. Most of what we saw is about historic figures, did not hear much from the tour guide as I was busy taking pictures. Something that caught my eye was some real bones and coffin. First time seeing real bones. Feel a little scared after taking the photos. After visiting the temple, we return back to the ship so as to reach our next destination which is the Shen Nong River. We change to another ship which is said to be environmental friendly. On our way there, we saw a lot of beautiful sights, mostly mountains and water, but for me I think the scenery in New Zealand is much more beautiful. Overall, it still very beautiful as we cannot see this kind of scenery back in Singapore and by comparing the water in Singapore River and Yangtze’s. It seems that the water is much cleaner here. As we reach Sheng Nong xi stream, we change our ship into another wooden boat. According to the tour guide, in the past, the people who row the boat did not wear any clothes, but they do wear some clothes now. It was quite relaxing during the ride, but for those people who the boy it was a tough job. I saw frowning while rowing the boat. I heard the guide said that those who are rowing the boats had an hour walk from their homes before they start with their work. It is really a tough job for them. I was wondering why they don’t move to the city to find a proper job or maybe have some education first before finding a job. After that, we take the environmental friendly ship back to our ship. Have our dinner after that. The tour guide said that we will be able to reach the dam at about 11 pm so I waited until 11. While waiting, Jia Lin and I make some new friends from the other courses. Had a great with them. I was excited when the time was 11pm, but there was a delay. It started to get into the dam around 12am. Due to the delay, most of my course mates had gone to bed, hence I was alone. Talk with the people in other course. Had a great time. The dam is beautiful at night due to the lights. We can’t actually feel the water is lowering down. I wanted to wait for the ship to get out of the dam, but I was too tired so I went to bed after it had reached the 3^rd gate.

11^TH day in Wuhan and it’s the day of the trip to the 3 gorges. All of us woke up early in the morning as we need to assemble at the entrance by 6.20am. On the way to our destination, I saw a lot of beautiful scenery that we could not see in Singapore. Along the highway I saw a lot of yellow flowers. According to the tour guide, those are orange plants. It was noon time when we reach Yi Chang and we have our lunch there. It was really a sumptuous meal. There are 9 dishes and 1 soup. After lunch, we proceed to our next destination which is the San Xia Da ba （三峡大坝）. It was still under construction so it was a little dusty there. Overall it is a beautiful place. There are a lot of plants. When looking down from the top, it was beautiful. The river, plants, the natural site that you can hardly see it in Singapore. Feels great when looking at the beautiful scenery, it will really help you to forget those bad memories. Saw the dam. First time seeing a real dam, all along I have been seeing in pictures during geography lessons. It is really big. Remembering what my geography teacher had said, if the dam really breaks cities nearby will flood. After seeing these big walls I finally know why there is a need to carefully maintain it or else tragic will once again happen.Jia Lin and I enjoy our time there. After that, we have our dinner before we went on board the river cruise. The dinner was not as sumptuous as what we had in the dinner, but it was still acceptable. After dinner we finally board our ship. The room was overall acceptable, better than what I expected. Wanted to take photos of the scenery outside but it was too dark to take. We had a good rest after settling down as we had a long ride to our destination.

11^th March 2010 Day 10 in Wuhan and there is no lesson. We went to visit the chemical facilities in the school. During the visit, we saw a number of plants that are used to make Chinese medicines and know about their uses. One that I am most familiar is Dang Gui as it is commonly seen in Singapore. Besides that, we were shown some of their products. It seems that there are still many people in China are still using Chinese medicines to cure a certain kind of diseases while most of the Singaporeans are using the western medicine to cure their illness. After the visit we were free. So we went back to the hostel. Since we do not have anything to do, me along with Shi Yi, Jia Lin, Hui ling and some of the guys went to Guang Gu once again. Actually I wanted to exchange the faulty product that I have brought and the others want to go shopping. There were nine of us so we need to take 2 of the Mian Bao che to destination. As it is illegal to have more than about 6 passengers in one van. It was about evening when we reach there so we decided to have our dinner first. As one of my post had mention about the Singaporean food, we decided to try out to see whether there is any difference in taste and of course the price. I order Curry chicken cutlet rice. I think it is quite nice for the curry. The taste is similar to what we eat in Singapore except for the spiciness. For me, the price is acceptable, although it is more expensive than in Singapore. Jia Lin and Shi Yi order prawn noodles and laksa respectively and both the prices are RMB 20. After eating we walk around the shopping centre. We saw a dog in the shopping centre and it was black in colour. Jia Lin and I approached the owner and asked for permission to take a photo of the dog. The owner was kind enough to let us to take photo of her dog. Later that day we ate ice cream there and I think it feels great eating ice cream in such weather, though it wasn’t my first experience, but it still feels great. After that, we called the auntie that had fetched the other day, and the auntie let the 9 of us to squeeze into one van although she knew that there is police nearby our school. Before reaching the school she asks 3 of us to get down the van as there are police ahead. She said that she will return to fetch them. After that, we went back to our hostel and start packing our bags for our trip on the next day.

10^th March 2010

9^th day in Wuhan. Having lessons again in the afternoon. Climbing up the flight of stair is indeed tiring. Feels warm upon reaching the class. This time, I could finally focus in class. The temperature was not as cold as the previous day that’s why I could focus throughout the lesson.

After the lesson, me along with some other course mates went to visit the lecturers dorm. The 1^st thing that caught my eye was the toilet bowl. Haven’t seen one since arrival. The teacher’s room is much more spacious regardless the room the toilet. I am still wondering why most of the toilets in china are squats instead of toilet bowls. Is it because of cleanliness?

In the evening Shiyi , Jia Lin and Benedict went to a restaurant in had our dinner. It was delicious and
appetizing. However, I think that the food in China is much oilier than in Singapore. If this happen in Singapore, I think the MOH will do something with the restaurant.

9^th March 2010

8^th day in Wuhan. 1^st IS lesson. It is conducted in the same room as the lesson on the previous day. When Jia Lin and I reach the classroom there was no more seats and was told to get chairs from other classes. We do not know where to get the chairs so I asked the teacher about the chair. It was my 1^st interaction with the teachers in China. I was a little confused whether I should speak in Chinese or in English because I do not know whether he understand English so I asked in Chinese. However the teacher answered me in English. The teacher can speak fluently, though he can’t speak really well when it comes to those difficult words. Overall, I think he has a good command in English. Learn more about the Chinese history and some Chinese idioms during his lessons. Overall enjoyable lesson, although feel cold at the end of the lesson. Like the way he speaks Chinese. We have our lunch after the lesson I quickly rush back to our hostel to wear more clothes and prepare for our next lesson. The next lesson was better than the previous day. Still cannot really focus in the class, because I was busy shivering. After the lesson, me along with some other course mates when to the hypermarket to buy some tidbits and basic necessities. We buy a lot of things and we need 2 trolleys to hold everything. We have our dinner in a halai restaurant. I order fried rice which only cost RMB 5. The portion was very big. I assume that it is the portion for 2 people. I think it is really worth. Went back hostel after that.

8^th march 2010

It’s the 7^th day in Wuhan and the 1^st time having lesson in Wuhan. Wake up in the morning and went to find Mr Wong with Eugene to settle our extension of visa. When we went out it was snowing. Second time experiencing snowing, so it was not new to me. It snows only for a while. After settling with the visa we help Mr Wong to prepare for class, putting adaptors in the class. Later we walk back to our hostel. Rest for about 2 hours and lesson starts. 1^st time having lessons in overseas. One thing that I can comment was that the classroom is very cold. Back in NP people complaint the LTs are cold, but for me it’s still acceptable but in Wuhan it’s unbearable. I think those that complaint the LTs, do not even want to stay in the classroom. I was expecting a heater to be installed in the classroom, however there is no heater and the whole room was very cold, I was shivering in class trying very hard to focus but failed to do so. Once the lesson ended, JIa lin and I quickly run back, to our hostel as we really could not stand the coldness. I was thinking how the students stand the coldness when they are having lessons. Probably they already use to the coldness, as they were raise up in this kind of environment. However I think that they should still install heater in the classroom so that the students could have a conducive environment. Later in the evening we turn in early to prepare for lesson on the next day.

6^th day in Wuhan, another day without schedule. Nothing much happen today, just staying inside the hostel until about 4pm. Went out for dinner in a restaurant. We order a few dishes and after eating, we realise that most of them spicy. It is not really spicy but you will feel your tongue numb after eating it. I think that most of the people in China like spicy food. When we pay for our meal, the cashier asks us where we come from. I guess she knows we are foreigner due to our accent. She says that we were quite good, as we can still understand what they say because some things that we say are different from them, and sometimes they could not understand what we were saying. This is something that we have adapted for the past few days as we actually had encounter times when we could not understand they were saying to us. I think this is important as this might cause misunderstanding between both parties. I hope that we could adapt to their accent as soon as possible.

5^th day in Wuhan, another with no schedule. Morning as usual, waiting for my friends to wake and we stay inside the hostel until afternoon when we decided to go Guang Gu Bu Xing JIe again, Wwe took the Mian bao che, there, we were good enough to encounter a friendly auntie and she gave us her number so that we could call her to pick us up whenever we need to go somewhere, nothing new to us as we had went there before. There are a lot of people in the shopping centre as compare to the other day that we had visited, because it is a weekend Have our lunch there and went shopping again, waited Shiyi to buy her things. While waiting, I saw a crowd and join in, there was an activity going on and I was lucky to encounter such things. If I’m not wrong it is organize by a radio station. There was a lady participating in one of the activity which I think is related to singing, and the lady was daring enough to sing and hit some high notes though there is some notes that are off. For me I think this is something that we seldom see and the lady is very daring, if it was me I think I won’t even step onto the stage. This is something we seldom see in Singapore except when there is singing competition. After the lady was a little child singing and was daring to talk back to the host. From these two activities, I think that most of the people in China will not be embarrassed to show what they are capable of. Later, we were surprise to pass by a shop. It sell Singapore delicacies and it name it Orchard, i guess they name it after Orchard Road. After shopping we return to our hostel, before that we call the auntie that had brought us there and the auntie was fast. We were lucky to meet a friendly driver.

5^th March 2010

It’s the 4^th day in Wuhan, and there is no schedule. We stay in the hostel room and had our final touch up with our learning plan as it is the deadline for the learning plan. In the late afternoon, we went to a KFC store that is near to our hostel and have our lunch. Most of the food they sell is similar to what Singapore’s KFC are selling except there are some new delicacies, like Portuguese egg tarts and grilled chicken wings. More varieties of food selling here, however, again the menu are all in Chinese, difficulty in saying our order in Chinese as we are used to saying out in English same comments as Mcdonald’s they should put some English words so that people who don’t understand Chinese can easily order what they want. After lunch we went to the hypermarket to get some stuff, for room cleaning as my roommates and I think that there is a need t clean to room. So we started our cleaning straight after we reach our hostel.Actually most of the cleaning is done by Jia Lin while i look after the luggage that are place outside the room. We finish cleaning our room at around 8pm and we have a little light snacks before we turn in. Although that was no schedule for that day, but it overall a tiring day.

3^rd day in Wuhan - the weather is still acceptable, not as cold as the previous day. After having our breakfast we were brought around the school and we also get to see our classroom for the next 6 weeks. Forgot to take photos of the classroom, but the only thing I can say is that it is very different from Singapore. The door has two layers, 1^st one is like metal bars and the 2^nd door is a normal door. Upon seeing the door I heard people saying, ‘it looks like a jail.’ Actually I had the same feeling after seeing the classroom. There must be a reason to have such doors. Besides that they are still using black board. I was still in primary school since I last seen a classroom with blackboard. Along the corridor they paste a lot of meaningful quotes from famous people.( Will try to write some of the quotes next time.) After touring around the school, we went shopping at Guang Gu Bu Xing Jie it was describe as Bugis street, but it is much bigger than Bugis street. We have fun there, and we shop from afternoon till evening. It is window shopping for me as I feel that there is a need to save money as we still have 5 weeks and i'm afraid that i might finish using all my money. Pictures worth a thousand words. The night view is really beautiful and reminds me of Orchard road, where colourful lights brighten up the darkness. After the long shopping, we finally went back to our hostel and had a good night rest.

3^rd March 2010

2^nd day in Wuhan and it is raining which cause the temperature to drop, and it’s even colder. Teacher’s brought us to a hypermarket to buy some basic necessities. Nothing different compare to our home country’s hypermarket the only difference is everything is in Chinese at the price tags, i think they should put some English words so that other foreigners that do not understand Chinese will know what they are buy. After finish buying our stuffs, we realized that they do not give plastic bags; we need to buy the plastic bags which cost RMB 20 cents. I think Singapore should also adapt to this as Singapore hypermarkets are still providing plastic bags for the customers free. As we walk out the hypermarket we need to let their staff to chop our receipt, I think it is to ensure we have pay the stuffs as we were not given any plastics bags. After that, we did nothing much, but I went back to the hypermarket to buy a shoe as my shoe had spoiled. After that we went back to the hostel to rest.

2^nd March 2010

On the departure day, I have to wake up early to get to the airport. Upon reaching the airport some of my friends had already reach, some even stay overnight at the airport. Being the 1^st time going oversea alone, I feel sad and at the same time scared. Sad because I will not be able to see my family for about 6 weeks, scared is because I was afraid that I will not adapt well and will not cope well with my studies in a foreign environment. When my parents leave the airport, I was feeling a little down, but I try to cover my sadness by looking at the positive side as my friends will still be with me for the 6 weeks. It was a long journey to Wuhan. Before reaching Wuhan, we had to stay in Guangzhou Airport for 6 hours. Shi Yi, Jia Lin and me ate Mcdonalds at the airport, and it is very different from Singapore. The menu is all in Chinese and we need to order it in Chinese. Although I’m a Chinese but the way we speak is different from people in China, hence there is still a little difficulty while communicating.

The 6 hours was not long as we explore around the airport. We reach the hostel about 11pm. Upon reaching the hostel, we realized that there is no lift or escalator and we need to climb up the stair nevertheless carry our own bag up the stair, and to my horror my luggage is 25.3 kg. As we approach the room, my roommates and I were quite shock about the condition as it was far from what we expected, but we were too tired after the long journey to the hostel, so we turn in after settling down. I guess we have to quickly adapt to this new room as we had to stay in for another 5 weeks.

Hello!!!!Konichiwa!!! An yeong haseyo!!! Hola!!!
Didn't update my blog for a very long time liao...ahaha lazy to update...but later next week or two weesk later u will probably seeing me updating my blog frequently....p.s due to assignment...probably is because i may or may not using this blog...lazy to make a new blog so probably sticking with this blog.
ok now trying to recall wad happen the last few weeks....oi ya...the last thing that i have say in the previous post was about my sis wedding...
Ahaha it was fun, tiring but overall a sweet sweet wedding...there ups and down when preparing the wedding stuff...and on the day its was BUSY....no time to sit and rest....
Dinner at malaysia was Busy and tiring for me...i was like multi-tasking ...i need to solve many things... wearing a 3 inch high shoe... walking everyway up and down....didn't each much that day cos was busy taking photos...after taking phots left with the last main dish....anyway i do not have appetite that day...
the real wedding day was olso fun fun...espeacially in the morning...when everybody is cuming to my hse....and most impotantly.. the part that the groom and grooms best man kena bully...ahaha...it was funny at that time the most funny part was tat the best men wore costume, those ancient warrior costume...it was the 1st time my hse filled with lots of ppl...
at night was good...the ambience at the ballroom is good also...finally sit down at eat...ahaha...as compare with the malaysia wedding....
UP NEXT... School reopens...i felt that times fly real fast...i have finish my final exam ald...
b4 exams when to Yvonne's hse to stay for abt 2 weeks...due to the making of visa...it was an experience staying in singapore....one word to comment... convenient....compare to malaysia which is better to have a car as the bus stops are veri veri far from ur hse...THANKS YVONNE AND HER FAMILY FOR ALLOWING ME TO STAY A THEIR HOUSE FOR SO LONG...really grateful ...her family are nice to me too...
next was Chinese New Year... i was not really enjoying cos exam was round the corner... but the most enjoying part was GAMBLING...1st time gamble so big...$10...my bro and cousin 'encourage' me to gamble bigger...bt really....u win and also lose veri fast...overall still win some money...
next...it exams which is this week....haha...fall sick on Monday...have a jab....and fever was gone after a few hours...ytd hav another jab too taiflu thingy.... 1 week two jab....phew.... then the exam...i tink i'm not goin to do well for this exam...IPC exam was a madness...noone leaves the room b4 the end of the paper...why???cos ppl are rushing with their scripts....there are lots of question...10 questions in 2hrs...not just onli 10 questions...1st question is 10 mcq question...and others have 2 to 3 sub question and all questions are veri wordy...forget to do one question summore....3 marks gone....and alot of marks goin off also... i'm glad that exams are over this time round...i'm really really slack this sem...so my new yr resolution is....haha....to be more hardworking this yr...want to get good results liao..

OK i dunno wads goin on...my head feels giddy and feels like vommiting and suddenly feel so cold and keep having cold sweat... suddenly feel so hot.. on air con then feel so cold ... i think i'm sick or wad...
too exhausted...wanted to rest for 2 weeks b4 sch reopens but... just receive news from Sok Fong....
i need to go for ALL trainings next week...even for sat...for wad competition trial...ok i'm still tired...maybe bcos i excercise for abt a week...mon to thurs then sat...haha CRAZY...this might be the thing u are thinking rite now...ya prob i'm crazy...why must it be this cuming week... i'm worse this week...if i go shoot this cuming week not the trainer but me too will feel disappointed with the results i'm getting...

currently update in Fraser Hill Ye Olde Smokehouse...
haha...quite bored... brought my laptop along...i tot there will be no internet ascess here...but lucky there have or else...haha..nvm i got bring along a cd...
haha the yellow ones is actually i want to update there but lost connection...haha so long le then update...actually nthing much to update for that trip..Fraser Hill its a place to relax...shopahollic plz dun go there...theres really nthing dere...took sum photo of the somkehouse maybe later then update...got a chance to watch G-Force 3D...maybe i have high hopes for that movie so a little bit dissapointing...i'm expecting more..nithing much to say in kl b'cos the most thing we do is SHOPPING!!!.but didn't buy much...wad i buy i also forgot liao...

i'm totally exhausted...have been a 'buzy' week...from monday to wed went swimming...

Monday went for driving lesson...1st time driving...quite tiring haha...

the instructor keep asking me to U turn...turn the wheel until ache...lol

Tuesday go cca from morning until evening...then when i reach home... my mom was like...'lets go swimming'...i was goin to faint after hearing...but manage to swim 10 rounds...hehe...nxt day whole body aching...rest for half day then later in the evening went swimming again...this time 15 rounds...haha...

Today went cca again more girls go today yea......wooo tiring...at least got improve a bit...one step at a time...haha...oh ya today i damn sotong...forget to bring ezlink card and finger tab...siao arh ...haha saw someone today whom i also see on tuesday...dunno whether is that person or that person's sibling...its been yrs i last saw that person so can't really recognize...(dun ask me who i won't tell haha)dun want to say much but just feel like saying it out ...

after cca stand on the bus for 45 mins...my legs was like PAIN..not aching...b'cos last time the injury haven fully recover who ask me not being a good girl keep on running...

later meet up with Sin Yee...she keep saying she won't make it for her promos...must have faith with urself! today morning went to take driving theory test... haha i pass...

after that my mum and i went to watch Where got Ghost...haha..my mum got shout abit when she saw the ghost...lol...

overall...still ok la...every story like got moral story...

tuesday when for cca...kena sunburnt again...i didn't wear the hand protection which also cos my hand to burn abit...pain when scratch...

EXAMS OVER!!!
yea i'm so happy... nv been so happy before...dunno why...
this is just 1st semester...
today morning...i so eager to take my exams...haha...see ppl reading notes but me keep looking at the watch and said,'Why time move so slow...faster leh i want to finish exam earlier...' haha dunno why... hate exams...
ok no one like it i guess...
overall all the paper is not as difficult as i tot except one that is dissapointing...cannot take AD any more i guess...i hav high hopes for tat 1...hopefully i could get A+...
after exams went watch movie with my mum...UP...
actually the movie its not wad i expected...i expect more laughter...cos the trailer looks funny...
the little boy damn cute... so heartwarming... the old man... such a sweet person...

so long nv update le...quite busy and lazy these days...haha...
final exams are ard the corner...haiz~
times fly real fast...
last sunday was my cousin's son b'day...haha...
a party u won't see for a 1 yr old toddler...haha...

just now went to watch Badminton competition to enjoy my last day of holiday...did not really enjoy my holiday cos of the camp and cca...therefore end up most of time in sch...
just now the competition was short...y?
haha the 1st competition was mixed double ...one of the player injured her leg...therefore have to give up...haha...the competition just started sia...
later those competition only have 2 rounds therefore end early...
got bruises again... its worst than those previous one...haha...wah...this week do alot of push ups...for punishment...cos sum ppl nv keep equipments on tuesday...i dunno wad happen actually...cos nv go tat day...

2nd week of holiday which is also the last week of holiday...
finish common test...went camping...
haha...the camping...quite fun...on the 2nd day went sentosa for the whole day....

last day of camping its totally about DIRTY stuff...play water bomb...play captain ball with fruits, veg, chicken, and squid..totally disgusted by the chicken...cos it was purposely tear into pieces....

ytd was father's day...went to my grandma's hse...many ppl say i veri dark...
in the evening got bbq...my auntie thought the bbq turn me until so black...lol

Hello! Just came back from Melacca...haha...now watching a show showing Melacca..haha wad a coincidence...

hello!today is my 1st day of school...haha late for a couple of mins...dun expect those jams here and there...have been rushing...so tiring...Once i reach sch i saw a person...ok i've forgotten tat person for about 1 yr++ and now tat person appear just infront of me (really just infront of me) once i reach sch...didn't think much cos late for orientation...luckily they haven really start yet...
later during lunch saw tat person too...is this good or bad luck???Maybe is just a bad omen...having nightmares these days...
Make sum new frends haha...funny bunch of ppl...i think my poly life won't be tat boring les i guess...
we had a car racing competition using baking powder and vinegar...(smells like mayonaise haha maybe hungry at tat time)
Class 1A01(Shiyi's class) won...btw my class is 1A02!!!hehe...

hello!
today went to gym again...haha finally can swim for this week yea..u noe why b' cos of every one month thingy haha...
so tired...after went SHOPPING! bought some clothes from Topshop and Nike...
we leave the house at about 9am and reach our home at about 2pm...so in the end very tired...
Maybe this will be my last time goin to gym cos sch gonna start...this is the sad thing...
Yup school's gonna start...1 more day and i will lose my freedom again...'Yea'):
ytd went to NP with Yvonne,Shiyi, Hwee Kee and Kelvin...
actually plan to buy txtbooks, notes,labcoat, goggles and go take the Free S&W T-shirt....but in the end we bought onli txtbook,labcoatand goggles...
as for Yvonne and Hwee Kee there didn't bought or take any thing...except ...we print our timetable in sch...haha...ytd found out that Shikin will be same class as me...yea...haha...

hello! just ignored my previous post haha... watching Boys Over Flower... korean version of Liu Xing hua yuan...(forget the english name..ps)wah its been more than 5 yrs...but still like the show...haha...
Monday my mum and i went s'pore by BUS...haha my mum actually took a bus to s'pore...actually went to take the medical report...went shopping before that...
Tuesday went to s'pore again to get my student pass thingy done...took MRT for about 45 mins++...stand the whole journey...cos too many ppl...
Today went to watch Mall Cop...funny show...
just got back from gym...tired... my hands no strength to type...haha...
me now very smelly haha...
dunno whether goin sch tml to buy books...dun feel like goin...haha...

hi! back to update...just came back from gym and swimming...currently tired...
BREAKING NEWS!
there's a robbery casw in my outside my neighbour's hse...
on tat day...i was here in my room...facing my neighbour's hse using my laptop...then sumone keep honking....i was like who the hell was tat so noisy...then later my mum was like why is there ppl standing outside the house...actually a robbery just happen...my neighbour b'cos she want to ask for help or sumthing...ltr i was like...WTH i miss the show...haha...jkjk...i not so bad... maybe if i noe i could run down take my baseball bat i go hit them or sumthing...but i think no use...those robbers are holding metal chains...
luckily nthing happen to my neighbour...just the car's glass broken and her bag was taken away...
so word of caution...when u go home make sure no one is following you ok!!!

hi!
i'm having a headache..sian...had my orientation ths morning...is kind of boring...maybe they didn't organise it well...anyway there will be another orientation on the 1st day of sch...only for our course...yea!Shiyi camping now...hahax...wish her luck...
last week...my Dad's b'day...make a b'day card for him...hehe...on tat day we went to Shangrilla hotel's Shang palace to eat...omg... they serve food veri slow...the time btw each dish was like 1/2 n hr...we sat on the table from 6.30 -9 pm...wah its like having annual dinner...
but overall their food is delicious....but too slow...
i'm so tired these days...dunno how can i survive when sch starts....i might just doze off...Zzz...
just now saw my time table...yea every wed no sch...tat means 4 school days...tat means i no need to change my time for my guzheng lesson yea...i was still worrying wad time should i change my lesson...
haiz i'm really TIRED...sorry for repeating this again and again...but i dun feel like sleeping...cos i just woke up...haha weird huh...
i'm still hunting down for purse...can't find the purse tat i want...haiz any suggestions?

Today is a busy day for me...
5.15am woke up...prepare to go for Qing Ming Jie...
finish by 8.30am...go back Pontian...ate noodles...delicious...long time nv eat...
12.30 went to gym...woohoo...my average speed is 8.0km/hr...a great improvement...not tired at all after running...after tat went swimming...also not tired at all..haha...something is wrong with today...not tired at all...
wa a busy week for me...disappointed...didn't manage to go to JJ's concert...sad...don't care le...life still needs to move on ritez...
my finger still hurts a little bit...haiz...

hello!ytd is a busy day for me...
went to meet primary school friends...i tot there will be little ppl goin' for the gathering but it turns out to be more than tat...
when we met...they decided to watch a horror movie Coming Soon... actually wanted to go East coast but rain...but when we decided not to go the rain stops...agr...
wah the movie...quite scary...especially the last part its still in my head...arh...
the scariest thing is tat the setting is in the cinema those who watch the movie will die...
*hair standing*and we are watching it also...
very funny b4 we go in the person check whether we reach 16 already or not b'cos its a NC 16 movie...ya it should be sum scene its pretty disgusting...
inside the cinema...we seperate 3 rows...the 1st row is like no reaction while watching the show... 2nd row..alttle bit scare scare...3rd row dunno whether they got watch or not almost every one in the 3rd row is covering their face...lol...
Jane sitting beside me shouted while watching ...scare me sia...not the movie scare but she's scaring me...lol
beside olso sat with Ernie... she had watched the movie b4...she veri funny keep asking me to watch...i got watch..but got one scene i can't take it...the part tat the ghost killed the lead actor...its really disgusting lor...i will lose my apetite if i keep watching it...
after the movie we took sum photos and exchange phone no.
later i rush to Ngee ann to buy laptop sum of them continue to shop around there or go arcade...

hello! i'm back from Hong Kong for 3 days...actually wanted to update once i've came back but too tired...
now tok about the trip...i'm realived tat we nv get lost nearly but never...haha...my bro always brought my mum n i the wrong way...therefore we walk alot and my legs till now still aching...
went to the peak again...but the view up there is really beautiful...quite cold up there me n my bro just wear jeans and a t-shirt...haha...but we still can stand the cold...like the temperature...
drank Godiva Dark chocolate ice blended up dere...hehe...nice...
later go no where...when back to hotel...nearly get lost b'cos of my bro...ate cup noodles tat night cos we were too tire to go out to hav dinner... but my bro later went out buying Mcdonalds...
2nd day...we went to ocean park...a little dissappointed...the roller coaster dere not veri thrilling...abt the same as Genting highlands...but the dolphin show was quite ok...
me and my bro was ask to go to the stage to do 3 action so tat the sea lion will follow...clap, wave, salute...cute...but it was just a short one...another volunteer went for the dolphin...
walking in ocean park is tiring alot of up and downs...we met a Canadian dere...omg...her chinese is very good...i was there looking at the map figuring where is the place tat the dolphins perform...den i heard sumone speaking in fluent chinese better then me i think...i tot she was from china...but...i turn my head i'm shock...she's a black...wah her chinese is good...having china slang...my mum tok to her then we noe that she's living in China...
on the 3rd day...we went to Disneyland again...actually we were planning to go to Macau on tat day but change our mind...not as exciting as the 1st time i go there cos most of the rides i tried b4...but i like Space Mountain...i like its speed...omg... i play 3 times...wad a coincidence...we met the canadian again...haha...then we realise tat we go back to our own country on the same day...
loke the popcorn...sweet...
currently watching Badminton Swiss Open semi finals...finally its malaysia's double...hope they could win...
ok continue with my journey...oh ya Disneyland...the atmosphere there makes u happy though went there b4 but still like it...the last time i went there was about 2 yrs or 3 yrs...not much change...hope they could add more attractions...
later tat night went to Avenue of Stars...it was windy tat night my bro n i wear t shirt n jeans again...its quite cold when the wind blows on u....
after tat we went shopping until 11.30pm bought a Haivanas slipper and a disney keychain tat day...then we went back to hotel ...our hotel is like on top of the slope we nee to walk up the slope which is very tiring...
on the last day..my mum n bro wake up late...cos we won't be having our breakfast..we plan to eat dimsum tat day...so we go to a restaurant tat need to pay HKG55 per person than we order until we are full...we really ate until full...wanted to vomit...too full...maybe write wad we ate in the nxt post...
later went to airport...boarded the plane saw quite a good looking air steward...haha...1st time saw such good looking one...cos most of the time saw air stewardess...never serve me cos his serving business class...i'm not rich so no business class for me...
back in singapore...my bro was ask to scan the lagguage..my mickey keychain was in the back..its a metal...big one...then the officer tot it was a weapon when seeing through the scanner...ask my bro to open the bag...then found the truth...

hello...9 more hrs i will be on my way to Hong Kong...actually not very excited cos gone there before...but happy is tat can go to Ocean Park last time only go Disneyland...hope this will make up the time in Korea's Everland...cos last yr went there during x'mas and its very crownded so onli manage to play two rides...haiz...hope this time won't be so crowded...
