7th March 2010

6th day in Wuhan, another day without schedule. Nothing much happen today, just staying inside the hostel until about 4pm. Went out for dinner in a restaurant. We order a few dishes and after eating, we realise that most of them spicy. It is not really spicy but you will feel your tongue numb after eating it. I think that most of the people in China like spicy food. When we pay for our meal, the cashier asks us where we come from. I guess she knows we are foreigner due to our accent. She says that we were quite good, as we can still understand what they say because some things that we say are different from them, and sometimes they could not understand what we were saying. This is something that we have adapted for the past few days as we actually had encounter times when we could not understand they were saying to us. I think this is important as this might cause misunderstanding between both parties. I hope that we could adapt to their accent as soon as possible.

End of day 6.
